In Berlin, red carpet moments with Kristen Stewart, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Sandler, Carey Mulligan, Hunter Schafer, and Douglas Smith, by Cristina Sandu

Berlinale, short for the Berlin Film Festival, is one of the most prestigious worldwide film festivals and welcomes international celebrities yearly. During its 74th edition, I saw some of these simple yet classic, elegant, and contemporary outfits on the Berlinale Palast's red carpet, which captivated the festival's audience and created a unique atmosphere for the festival.

Kristen Stewart, a longstanding ambassador for Chanel, arrived at the Berlinale Special Gala alongside director Rose Glass to promote Love Lies Bleeding. Kristen wore Chanel's Spring/Summer 2024 collection titled The Button, imagined by Virginie Viard, which included a blazer paired with two skirts, white tights and black sandals. Over the white mini skirt, she layered a transparent skirt above the knees. Although she showed her feminine side more, her signature messy hairstyle made an interesting contrast to the whole outfit. Kristen's makeup was simple but sophisticated, completing her angelic look and accentuating her natural beauty.

At the Berlinale Palast premiere of her debut horror film, Cuckoo, Hunter Schafer confidently wore bohemian look seven from Maison Margiela's Spring Artisanal Collection 2024, styled by Dara Allen. The sophisticated yet modern outfit featured natural makeup with red eyeliner by Charlotte Prevel and a stylish, messy hairstyle by Jillian Halouska.

Adam Sandler wore a relaxed but elegant look at the premiere of Spaceman at the Berlinale Special Gala. He completed his outfit with a tailored dark suit with a subtle pattern, an open-collar shirt, and leather black shoes. Moreover, Adam's confidence and outgoing vibe made him stand out on the red carpet.
Carey Mulligan looked fabulous in a strapless black dress with nude drapes. Her outfit was Look 26 from the Schiaparelli Couture Spring 2024 collection designed by Daniel Roseberry, complete with black stiletto pumps. Carey's soft-toned makeup and classic flowing blonde wave hairstyle added elegance to her overall look.

Douglas Smith looked fit and confident in a dark blue suit, white shirt, and cream-coloured tie. The contrast between these three colours added a glamorous visual as he posed on the red carpet alongside his Seven Veils co-stars.
Amanda Seyfried, styled by Elizabeth Stewart for the premiere of Seven Veils, wore a sleeveless black satin dress crafted with mud silk from Givenchy's Spring 2024 Collection designed by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. Amanda completed her look with black high heels, Cartier jewellery, a laid-back hairstyle by Dayaruci and discreet makeup featuring red lipstick that accentuated her green eyes. On the red carpet, she was effortlessly elegant with a hint of dark aesthetic.
