Lunch. Whether it’s a quick sandwich throughout the day for a demanding work woman, or a leisurely Sunday making a fry up at 2pm, it’s universally acknowledged as peak time for socialisation, comfort and great food. We’ve compiled a list of the nation’s best to offer restuarants that deliver mouthwatering and memorable lunch spots.

  1. Chloe Gourmet - Leicester

Known for being a great halal spot and the French patisserie selection and addictive coffee, Chloe Gourmet has ambience, sophistication and good quality food - plus, it doesn’t hurt knowing there’s a fabulous pastry selection just a mere glance away.

2. Clyde’s Brunch &  Burger Bar - Brighton

Tucked away between an array of brunch options and cafes, Clyde’s is a standout. The service is impeccable and their vegan option doesn’t even fail. You can’t go wrong with a view of the seafront and a heartwarming meal - even if it is a bit repetitive.

3. Panadera - London

Another hidden gem in Camden Town, this Filipono bakery offers traditional ube flavours and the same Filipino twist on sandwiches, their sandos are the star of the show. Served with a good iced frappe or coffee and some fish crackers, Panadera is a must for lunch.

4. Crunch Korean Gansig - Manchester

Popular from the annual Christmas markets, this Korean stall has become a permanent fixture, offering the perfect streetfood option for lunch. The crunch of any corndog, which an array of any flavour - seafood, cheese and so forth, is a perfect replication of Korea.
